The following is a list of some of the recalls of infant and children’s car seats that have occurred in recent years. Baby Trend, Inc. (BABY TREND)

April 2014: Recall of model TRENDZ FASTBACK for buckle defect that may cause buckles to become stuck in latched position so that child may not be easily removed.

Britax Child Safety, Inc. (BRITAX)

August 2015: Recall of models ADVOCATE CLICKTIGHT; BOULEVARD CLICKTIGHT; and MARATHON CLICKTIGHT for defect that may cause harness adjuster button to stick in down (harness release) position, allowing shoulder harness to loosen and cause child to be inadequately restrained.

November 2012: Recall of models ADVOCATE 70 G3; BOULEVARD 70 G3; and PAVILION 70 G3 convertible child restraints because chest pad is made of material that may be bitten or chewed by a child, causing a choking hazard.

February 2012: Recall of models CHAPERONE E9L692J BLK/SIL; CHAPERONE E9L692K (RED); CHAPERONE E9L692L COWMOOF; and CHAPERONE E9L692M GREEN infant child restraint systems for defect that may cause harness adjuster to detach from seat shell and cause child to be inadequately restrained.

Combi USA, Inc. (COMBI)

January 2014: Recall of models 8220 (COCCORO); 8815 (ZEUS TURN); and 8836 (ZEUS 360) child restraints for defect in harness webbing that can cause webbing to break, preventing child from being adequately secured.

Evenflo Company, Inc. (EVENFLO)

August 2014: Recall of EVENFLO Model EMBRACE 35 two-piece, rear-facing infant child restraints with AmSafe QT1 buckles for buckle defect that could cause harness buckles to be difficult to unlatch so that child may not be easily removed.

April 2014: Recall of models CHASE; MAESTRO PERFORMANCE; MOMENTUM 65; SECURE KID; SNUGLI ALL-IN-ONE; SNUGLI BOOSTER; SURERIDE DLX; SYMPHONY; and TITAN 65 for same defect as August 2014 recall.

October 2012: Recall of model 310 MAESTRO child restraint systems for defect that could cause crack to form at front of seat adjacent to harness adjuster so that child may not be adequately restrained.

February 2008: Recall of 1 million models 390, 391, 534, AND 552 (DISCOVERY) car seats for defect that could cause seats to be separated from their bases.

Graco Children’s Products, Inc. (GRACO)

August 2014: Recall of models APRICA A30; SNUGRIDE; SNUGRIDE 30; SNUGRIDE 35; SNUGRIDE CLASSIC CONNECT; and SNUGRIDE CLICK CONNECT 40 for defect that could cause buckles to become stuck in latched position so that child may not be easily removed.

February 2014: Recall of models ARGOS 70; ARGOS 70 ELITE; CLASSIC RIDE 50; COMFORT SPORT; COZY CLINE; MY RIDE 65; MY RIDE 65 W/SAFETY SURRO; MY RIDE 70; MY SIZE 70; NAUTILUS 3-IN-1; NAUTILUS ELITE; NAUTILUS PLUS; READY RIDE; SIZE 4 ME 70; SMART SEAT; SMART SEAT W/SAFETY SURRO; and STEP 2 for same defect as August 2014 recall.
